Are the Bandits mostly comprised of northern Calgary families?
No, we cater to families from all across southern Alberta. Our teams are comprised of players from as far away as Cochrane, Lethbridge & Red Deer.
What arenas do the Bandits use for Winter and Spring hockey?
Our home rinks are NESS, Max Bell, Father David Bauer, Village Square and Norma Bush. We also use the Olympic Oval, Acadia and Southland to round out our ice needs. Calgary Hockey Development Centre (HDC) is utilized for small ice skill development, video review and dry land sessions.
Who are your coaches?
In order to coach for our Bandits teams, our coaches undergo an extensive interview process. We carefully evaluate each coach’s experience and hockey knowledge, to be able to assign them to teams that best align with their expertise. Our coaches are committed to providing a positive, growth-oriented environment for young athletes. We believe in fostering a love and passion for the game.
How does your Academy compare pricewise to other Academies?
HDC provides the best-valued academy in Calgary. We not only offer payment plans but also sibling discounts!
